The Great Thanksgiving

The Lord be with you.

And also with you.

Lift up your hearts.

We lift them to the Lord.

Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.

It is right to give our thanks and praise.

It is indeed right this day to give you thanks, O God.

In fulfilment of your promise, you pour your Spirit upon us, filling us with your gifts, leading us into all truth, and uniting peoples of many tongues in the living of the gospel day by day.

Infused with the Spirit, we join with your people

of all places and times, with the whole company of heaven,

and with all the saints, to proclaim your greatness

and sing your praise in the angels’ unending hymn:

Holy, Holy, Holy one, God of love and peace

Heaven and earth are full of your glory.

Hosanna in the highest!

Blessed is the one who comes

in the name of God.

Hosanna in the highest!
